About Gina
I'm a holistic psychotherapist whose approach is centered around helping clients build upon their strengths, and in connecting with the parts of themselves that want to be healed.
With 16 years in cancer services at Northwell Health and over 14 years in private practice, my expertise spans grief and bereavement, anxiety and depression, cancer support, and challenging relationship dynamics.
I also teach in the field of health psychology, educating students on how psychosocial, emotional, and behavioral factors influence health and wellness.
Services
I draw on a range of modalities — always tailored to you, never from a script. Whatever brings you here, we'll find the approach that helps you heal.
Areas of Focus
Compassionate support for those navigating loss — from the death of a loved one to a cancer diagnosis, a relationship ending, or the quiet grief of a life that changed without warning.
Whether you're caught in cycles of worry, exhausted by trying to hold everything together, or simply feeling flat — we work on the root, not just the symptoms.
With 16 years in cancer services at Northwell Health, I offer specialized support for patients, survivors, and family members at every stage of the journey.
How We Work
Emotional Freedom Techniques, breathwork, and somatic approaches that access the body's own intelligence — moving beyond talk to where emotional patterns are actually held.
Structured practices that quiet the nervous system, restore a sense of safety in the body, and open space for insight that busy minds don't often reach.
Evidence-based CBT tools woven into an integrative approach — useful for reshaping the thought patterns that keep people stuck, without reducing the work to a checklist.
Getting Started
The first session is a collaborative process in which we get to know each other. Together, we'll explore your strengths, challenges, and goals for therapy.
After a few sessions, you'll start to get to know my therapeutic style and talk about your life experiences in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.
A new client assessment form and service agreement is emailed upon scheduling. I'll ask about your reasons for seeking counseling, past experience, and treatment goals.
Just a few sessions can make an enormous impact on your emotional health. You won't need to wait months to begin feeling a meaningful difference.
I accept the following insurance plans:
Contact your insurance company via the number on the back of your card to learn about your copay, deductible, and annual visit allowance.
For other carriers, I generate a monthly invoice for out-of-network reimbursement — which typically covers 70%–95% of my fee in most plans.
